The Artist
Isa Silva was born in the summer of 1966 and since then creativity has kept her company in drawing and creating stories. She attended the António Arroio School of Arts and ETIC. In her second life (as she likes to point out) she rediscovered drawing, painting, photography and writing. She combines these passions with work in graphic and editorial design and art and craft training.
She participated in several individual and group exhibitions, both in terms of drawing, photography and painting.
Her best-known painting project is Square Faces (which celebrated 10 years in 2023), very colourful faces always drawn in a square format.
She has published books and in 2013 she was an author and theatrical costume designer with a play for children. In 2014 she made her debut in urban art.
She has been part of Urban Sketchers Portugal since 2010 and headed the board of the USkP Association between 2020 and 2024.
